I think it was supposed to be addressed in this BIOS. I upgraded my M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 to the latest release BIOS 1606, and it does NOT recognize my second graphics card. I have an HD5850 in the primary and 9600 GT in the second slot. Overall I'm pleased with the BIOS and have had no issues, it just doesn't fix the problem I (and others) are having.
I did NOT clear CMOS after loading, will try that when I get some time. Any other suggestions are welcome!

Yes, I know the slot difference. In my case, I have an HD5850 and 9600GT. Here are the various scenarios & how they play out:
- Just the HD5850: Recognizes it without an issue in primary slot
- Just the 9600GT: Recognizes it without an issue in the primary slot
- 9600GT in primary, HD5850 in secondary: Recognizes both cards
- 9600GT in secondary,HD5850 in primary: Recognizes only the HD5850
Again, I have not tried swapping cards or slots, etc., since upgrading to 1606 but I don't think it will matter since it can't see the 9600GT in the configuration I need.

The 1606 BIOS release notes specifically mention fixing support for two NVIDIA cards. Yet, my Geforce 460 and Geforce 240 fail to be detected simultaneously in the M4A89GTD Pro.

Device manager, AMD Overdrive, GPU-z, do not recognize a second GPU installed in the computer. The GPU does work and is recognized if installed as the sole GPU, just not as a secondary one...even if it is only for physics.
Uninstalling and reinstalling GPU drivers would very likely not work, but I can give it a try when I get time.

09/08/2010 Update
I will warn everyone now that updating to the following BIOS code means you cannot flash back to a previous BIOS and we will not have a tool to do it. Unless you are willing to use a BETA BIOS, wait for the official release please.
Crosshair IV Formula - BIOS 055
1. Improved Memory Performance and Clocking
2. C1E/CnQ operation update
3. Voltage enhancements

Crosshair III Formula - BIOS 1805
1. Improved Memory Performance and Clocking
2. C1E/CnQ operation update
3. Voltage enhancements

Based on the CIIIF results, should be rolling out M3/M4 updates in the near future.

I understand, that most attention pointed on high level products, but want to ask about one old integrated motherboard - Asus M2NPV-MX. Near two month ago I found that there is new beta BIOS for it, 5005, which added support for all AM2/AM2+/AM3 CPUs, except six core models. Later, some of them disappeared from CPU Support List, for example Phenom II X4 955/965, and there is also post on forum, where user says about incompatibility of this mobo with Phenom II X4 945. I planned to upgrade CPU in this mobo to one of Phenom II X4 CPUs, but now I'm in embarrassment - is Phenom II X4 working on this motherboard, and why some of the CPUs disappeared form CPU Support List?
flashed CHIV 055 bios , previous oc settings are not stable at all . not even when upping voltages and lowering speeds .
(yes i did clear cmos , reset to defaults and did settings again)
So now running linx at F5 default bios settings to see if that's stable . (seen fsb fluctuate between 189 and 217 , wow)

Why is this Bios dated the day before the 1005 if it is newer?
Thnaks Bingo for the updated news. Can't wait to get an update for my M3 motherboard hopefully it's not another month before it comes out haha.
Be nice to see more m3a79 love
Haven't seen anything like that here with 955/1090. Monitoring with CPU-Z, AI Suite and THG Clock. Both idle and loaded using Prime (small FFTs/blend) and LinX. Voltage spreads are tighter with this BIOS, particularly VCORE and CPU/NB. Also at least on my board most measured voltages are lower then software reports.
I'm still waiting for a Turbo CORE compliant BIOS for my M3A78-T...
I'm wondering why it seems so difficult to implement it, because there are several M3N series boards, even the oldest and cheapest M2N with that feature enabled...
Why nVIDIA chipsets are "easier" in BIOS developement?
I bought a full AMD board (SB750, price around 130 EUR), thinking that my choice will assure stability, and frequent updates, including full Thuban support...

Just found out the major problem of Thuban with the crosshair II. Seems like Asus implemented the 4 P-States of the Phenom II X4 for the X6 (which has 5 P-States).
To make it visual what they did wrong:
but it should be this way:
So P4 doesnt not work because the X4 doesnt have it, -> no C&Q. Multiplier Changes in Bios just affects the Turbo state (P0), not the normal Load State (P1). Would be pleased if u can adress this to your technicians in charge.
regards

seems like the cpu-nb needs a lot more vcore in my case . whereas 3085mhz was stable at 1.3V before i now need 1.4V to get 3000NB stable .
still testing with linx now , this time upping HTlink speed and see .
