guys try these tweaks listed at http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=111400 loosening tRD and tRFC on my bad axes allowed me to jump from 433fsb max to 440fsb max which for E6600 means going from 3898mhz to 3962mhz

433 FSB is a 63% OC. I thought the Bad Axe was limited to 50% OC. Is there a mod that allows this? Where is it documented? You could end up being my hero, eva2000.

Which clockgen do you use? IDT or the older one?

For IDT boards use systools for clockgenning.

Can anyone tell if the IDT is worse than the ICS? And is an issue of these chips that >30% in BIOS options doesn't work?

edit: I just took a look at my RETAIL 305 board (received it yesterday). I've got an ICS Chip on that board...
on a friend's bulk 305 board, an IDT Chip is used!

I received this morning 3 Bad Axe rev 305, the 3 were equipped with the clock generator ICS (like the first), it seems that Intel did not modify all D975 with Chip IDT but only some.

    The chip ICS is:
    660141
    0606
    954108CFLF
