-Asus Rampage II Gene
-2x 500gb HD501LJ Raid0
-Asus GTX 480 (stock for now, got it today)
-Beige case with added holes and Bithumen sheets to keep the magical smoke from escaping the case!
-Corsair HX 1000
-Corsair H50 + Delta 197CFM fan

Wow, I love your beige box. I've been wanting to do something like that for a while, but I have been waiting on the right case.

I want to know how the 480 can SURVIVE though, feeding off the warm air of the CPU.

Easy, the GPU topped 88c @ 65% fan speed on stock clocks and 1.013v in Unigine Heaven V2.0 max settings run

The key is not taking the sidepanels anywhere NEAR the case

If you actually wanted to install panels, could you mount one or two 120mm fans below the 480 as intakes blowing tons of cool air on the card? Should work? Idk where you'd have a good exhaust though....

I could, but I don't want to :P The only exhausts are the GTX and the PSU's 140mm fan :T
