    Noisy pump.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why my pumps are so loud. I have tried 3 different pumps(sorta different), swiftec mcp350, mcp355, ddc 3.25... Still, all of them make the same squishy water sound. Is it because the pump is too close to the radiator? Also, the system is fully bled... I let it run for 2 days straight, and then sat overnight, and ran some more, still makes the same noise.

Here is a video of the sound...

You can hear it pretty good, the squishy, rattling sound.

air bubbles .... turn on/off the pump (aka pull the plug, and plug it back in) .. do it a lot of times till there's no more

there's air bubble trapped in the pump, somehow the air bubble came from the upper flow

Did you add a pump top? Did you overtighten the pump top? Only other thing I can think is there is an air bubble in there. Try rotating your case side to side and tapping on the pump. That can help get it out.

I did all that, no pump tops either.

I can't make the noise out well enough to make a possible diagnosis due to all the other noise going on. . .if those are fans, please turn them down/unplug them and make another video please.

my DDC's are horribly noisy too.
without watching your Youtube vid, A LOT of DDC noise is through vibration.

Forgot about vibration. I really couldn't see how the pumps are mounted.

Did you mount them directly to the case, or did you use some rubber grommets?

Can you take a few pics of your setup? I can't tell that well from the video, but it looks like you don't have the microres outlet feeding the pump inlet. From the best I can tell, it sounds like air bubbles to me. If your loop isn't routed so that air can easily work its way out into the res, you have be having a problem with air getting trapped in your pump due to the way your tubing is routed.

I have 4 ddcs, and all with the regular top made a kind of water splashing noise just not as bad as trapped air. Yours sounds like either trapped air or the same cavitation/splashing sound that I had on mine until switching to an aftermarket top. I had posted a video ?1-2years ago on here of mine making a sound similar to yours, and it still made it when took out case and gave a pure water supply devoid of any chance of air.

I would first make sure it is decoupled from case and air not trapped, especially if recent bleed, like others said. If still making a splashing sound.. try squeezing the tubing before/after pump and see if that makes the splashing/water cavitation sound go away (as you slow down water speed), if it does I would get an aftermarket top. I just came to the conclusion 2 years ago when i had that issue that most people dont complain about any water cavitation sounds (though all 4 mine had that sound) because everyone on here but me was using aftermarket tops.

The only noise mine makes now is a low grade humm, not audible above 1000rpm fan speed noise. Made a video of what mine now sounds like, unfortunately my loud PCP&C 910 "silencer" is fan/roar noise you hear (all other fans off), but cant turn it off...but as swing back and forth from it to pump, you can tell pump sound...from 1 foot, barely audible low hum, with all fans off but power supply...and I need a quieter psu.

Yeah, squeezing the line did make the sound stop. What aftermarket top do your recommend?

I have the bottom port on the res feeding the pump, while the top one is return... Is that right?

EK and XSPC both make great pump tops.

Yeah your res is hooked up right, and like millertime said, either EK or XSPC would work fine, I have xspc black tops on mine.
