Hey littledevil, a "simple" question. Would it be possible to chrome the compressor? Would look so damn nice under some blue lightning in a silver V2100
    case.

painted compressor means no warranty, but for sure, it's no problem to paint it with "chrome".

but i wouldn't recommend v2100, to small airflow true the front since you have the door in front. v2000 is a better choise.

    regards
    Tim

Yeah, thats true about the V2100.
I was actually thinking of real chrome plating, would that be possible? I mean, painting with "chrome" is a bit "tattigt"

i don't think so. since the method to make the crome can cause issues for the sealing between electrical socket and shell.

if you want to make it "chrome" either paint it or polish it and clearcoat. to be honest, I would keep it black.

You could chrome it if you make sure to cover the electrical plug with wax. And make sure you don't get acid in the compressor.

I'm just curious. those condensers is rated for 700watts, and what rotarys do you use?

    what loadtemps do you expect?

well I have to say, I'm very happy with the size of those rotary cases (i got two my self without the gauge and controller holes).. but it's enough space to build autocascade in there, and I will build one for my self (already in progress). might try that instead?

    regards
    Tim

    It looks like a LG NJ282P R-407C or LG NJ236P R-407C compressor.
