Wow, the 2900XT does very well here!

Still, that's pretty low framerates on high end hardware... typical bloated EA e...

It's the world shadow and FX that kills the performance. Turn that down to medium the framerates improves.

It's looking good on XBOX360@30FPS (60 when looking back ).

If PC conversion is as well optimized as for consoles and FPS are above 30 all the time everything is fine! But if it dips belove then it's a bad news for people with slower GFX cards....

Is this a specific benchmark or like a fraps?
I just played it with my overclocked gt and quad at 2.85
With 1280x1024 res, all settings on high, 8x antialiasing, I was wondering if I was playing a nintendo game on crack.. fps would hit high 70's at some points
    avg about 45-50fps.
2900xt does well because the test doesn't stress aa
The gfx were good but the fun level wasn't like those old need for speed games
I'll take flatout 2 anyday of the week

I wonder if the rv670 will outperform the 8800gt in pro street, especially considering the r600 does

I just uninstalled the demo, when I turned on 4X AA it had zero impact on the performance. I just wasn't into it enough to tweak the settings to get a good mix of performance and eye candy. It looks like Juiced 2 Hot Import Nights is going to be the new NFS heir.

Total playing time = 10 minutes
Time to download and install = 30 minutes
    That isn't a good ratio.

game supports widescreen resolutions up to 1920x1080. Damn them for not including 2560x1600! Surprisingly enough, the game doesn't crash with crossfire enabled, or fails to laod with Crossfire enabled...at least they got something right.

Um, they madea few development house purchases, and hence the loss. They should recoup those losses over Christmas season...one quarter of losses is minor, really. Valve went 6 years without a real release...and they were a developer, not a publisher.

No, I didn't. This is because with it comes to car games (sims) you NEVER use a keyboard. However, the use of the xbox 360 game pad with wireless PC remote shows no lag for me.
