so i was able to make it home for lunch and checked my new G0 out from NCIXUS.com (see previous post), its part of that A batch, forgot the FPO number though, will edit this up when i get back home in about an hour.

anyway, i find it weird as ever that my brothers B3 that came from newegg today has a pack date of 7/16 whereas my G0 has a pack date of 7/13... quite odd if you ask me

Not a bad idea. In another week or two hopefully
'most every' retailer will have G0s and the
prices should come down to the $285ish level.

    I see Fry's is even selling $298 for a Q6600 and
el-cr*po ECS motherboard bundle lately, so
that'd be a decent deal in a couple weeks when
they actually have G0s one can always sell
the motherboard or use it for a backup system
and come out ahead on the price.

I also received a G0 from ZZF on an order I placed 7/28.

Same batch # as Allan. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

    Congratulations, guys!

Please try and submit some feedback about
how well they're performing for you at
given temperatures / volts / frequency into
the Q6600 OC database thread or similar ones.

I'm looking forward to reviewing others' results
to get an idea of how mine is performing and
how best to tune it for best performance!

Just ordered a Q6600 from DirectCanada.com on Thursday the 2nd, got a B3 stepping. No complaints so far though. This chip is running at 3.1ghz on stock voltage. Will go higher tonight.

Is the BX80562Q6600 p/n B0 stepping? That's all that Newegg is showing.

They (and most other stores) are not showing the part of the p/n that would tell you which stepping it is... a G0 stepping would have 'SLACR' tacked on to the end of that.

Just an FYI to those who ordered through tankguys. Check your email's. They are expecting 150 'G0' steppings this week and may actually receive enough to fill ALL pre-orders if they also receive another shipment they are expecting from another vendor. I'm #153 in line so i'm hoping they do get more then 150.

Understood. Your post didn't seem to make sense and sure appeared to be sarcasm. I apologize.

Odd, the guy must have missed it in the warehouse, or looked for the wrong thing. As of 7/2 they had none when it was checked.

    Hi
Big disappointment here. I've ordered from www.komplett.co.uk, they still have like 100+ in stock.

What I've received is Q6600 SL9UM with pack date: 06/21/07, guess i have to cool it off.
