Thank's m8, how is youre board (p5w), still alive?Originally Posted by sierra_bound
Unfortunately the board is dead.At this point, I'm moving on. I am going to give the Foxconn and P5WDG2 WS Pro a try. I am looking for a good Kentsfield board. People say the Foxconn sucks, but I will give it a try anyway. Doesn't have to run extremely high FSB. The P5B Dlx is the current king when it comes to that. I have a feeling I will settle on the P5WDG2 WS Pro.
wtf? nice OC
I hate my Retail ...
I can make 60 % OC with my SS
P5B + ES 4MB yeah but retail (4MB) not very good, even terrible or I missed some new resultsOriginally Posted by sierra_bound

I have an ES Kentsfield and ES 6600. Not going to bother with retail chips for the time being. The Kentsfield is the best CPU I've ever owned. The rendering power is awesome.
you missed something?? .......i think i missed something hereOriginally Posted by kiwi
realy?
a p5b + e6600 b2 is no go @ 500 fsb?
Maybe that's why a few guy's had no luck here
@ sierra
its a shame about the p5w, it was a nice one, but like you said already , move on
i like the kentsfield, wish i had one , pm if youre sick of it

The highest I've seen so far is around 4.1Ghz 965 + retail 6600/6700 (XE anyone?). And around 4.5Ghz for 975
