well, dont forget about your ram, we need that running at -150 also you know and also the power mosfets.... yes........ *shifty eyes* anything else on a PC that needs to be cooled?

as for the drinks, i think we want them to still be liquad, so you could just wrap the suction line around a drink holder or something, casue well -100 drink is abit to cold....

hehe anyways... back on topic. with auto cascades, would it be possible to fit them into really small spaces and still be able to move about a 200watt heat load at -50 to -100?? such as a small pc in a big case, plus the autocascade?

It will not immediatly kill you but it won't gain any load temps either

More like... try it bazx Argon is cheap so it isn't expensive experiment really :P Worst case scenario is higher discharge pressure.... and bit loss of temp

    bottle and regulator isn't cheap...

and as you can see argon doesn't even affect load temp on the autocascade.

unknown road is right. The argon won't help, your systems not cold enough. You could try some R13, R23, R503 or R170.

freezing the mosfets wouldnt really do much, they are made to run at over 70c, if you can keep them at about room temp thats enough.

So bekut tried it on his r134 autocascade....hmmmmm interesting.....

I saw my unit in person yesterday and she's looking a bit "in pieces" Solenoids are really cool though. They'll allow me to each head on and off with a flip of a switch. Nice work Cryo

no a while a go there was a myth that if you mixed r134a with argon in a single stage you'd get very low temps, it didn't do anything.
