    Abit BH7 available soon!

Just got this in an email from a friend at Abit.

The BH7 will be available in another 2-3 weeks as well (he was responding to another series of emails about the new revision on the NF7-S mobos and I mentioned the BH7 as a good overclocking board with 4 phase power)

Yeah I got an Email about the BH7 too. I will be getting a sample from Abit to do a review so lets see how overclockable this board really is.

NY please PM me with the link to your review - sounds like a good board but curious about the 4 phase power and it's "benefits".

It just sounds like a good design this time from Abit.

Will do m8, Abit said I should have it next week some time, so I should have the review ready within a week after that.

I just ordered a 2.4 533 (Had to sell off one my my AMD rigs to afford it) so I should have that soon. Though I may have a learning curve with it since I have not had an Intel Setup since the PI days...Any tips would be appreciated.

I'm looking forward to your impressions on this board, as Abit has told me about it's potential already here. I've even been thinking of builiding my next system as a P4 HT beast (I like the ungodly FSB speeds). I've build out about 20 AMD systems recently, and Pentiums for other friends, but have not build an Intel rig for myself in a long long time. I have to admit, if Abit engineered the 4 phase power properly, used the right caps, and all the memory slots work as advertised, this should be one kick ass board.

I just looked in the bios file for this mobo.
The v-core can go from 5% to 33% over stock voltage. So for 1.5V your looking at up to 1.995V.
The Memory voltage goes to 3.05.
The AGP shows 1.5V and 1.6V.

Abit says that it should be in their warehouse early next week and they said I should have it in my hands shortly there after. So hopefully I should have a review posted not too long after that.

Thanks NY...looking forward to it. My rev 1.2 Abit board is rock stable, love the thing so far, they definitely improved the AMD side of the house.

Just got word that the BH7 is in Abits warehouse...so it should be showing up in online stores very soon.

I should have mine in a few days and will hopefully have a review available shortly there after.

The board was nice and this review is not very comparative but we do show the overclocking part which in our minds is important.
