    why?

you have already the best for bandwidth. You have already the vrimm mod and ... forget buffered memory benchmark.
W/ some PC1200 you will score the same w/ unbuffered benchmark. But w/ PC1200 stick PC1333 will be easy @2.57v.

    Ciao

Remember its using a Mobile P4which defaults to a 12multi so 200fsb is a dead easy overclock..and yes it is stable to the point it is boring!!!

I saw Ga-8INXP back in-stock at Newegg for about 10 minutes yesterday. I was ready to buy one but waited for my wife to leave the room (hehehehehe) and 5 minutes later....they were gone!!! Grrrrrr.
AND TEDINDE---- What do you think of your Vapo PE, what do you use for gpu cooling(edit**I see MCW 50-T...works well?) and do you think Prommy would have gotten you a stronger oC?

Same as a normal P4..its just the board will not clock past 200fsb...thing is its a lot faster than a p4 clocked to 2.4 with a 133 or 166fsb as the cache and the memory are running much faster.

Yep...you in essence have early springdale right there.
DC board at 200FSB, and a 2.4/800 chip. The only thing you're missing is Hyperthreading.

Damn...Sprindale and those new 800 FSB with Hyperthreading chips...going to be hella sweet

On an ATX board there is no way to get it into performance mode so we are stuck at 12 multi.

    Thanks thats a good thread.
I noticed in that thread you showed a pic of the 8INXP's f2 BIOS loaded into modbin6, showing thew max fsb to be 355??

Was that after you moded it?
The 8INXP I have shipped with the F3 BIOS and only goes upto 200 fsb??
Not that I have a proc that'll do 200fsb, but you never know what will turn up

I'm interested to see which you like best, the Asus or the Giga Byte.

Thus far I've had no issues with the 8INXP to 180fsb
Wish I had a CPU that would go higher.
But they are comeing in April
