Got mine also. 0301. I'm doing 2385 at 1.9v with an slk800 and 80mm tornado. I'm not sure if it will do it with lower volts. Just stuck it there to see how it will do Running some prime95 right now. Running at 35.5 so its kind of warm but will see how it does.

    Hey Stang,
if you want to unlock the mults for access to 12.5 and below, I highly recommend the pin trick - works very smooth!
    Check out shuki's link below...

    I'm running at 2275 (12.5x182) right now
    1.65 vcore
    kx7-333
    samsung pc2700 (2x256) 2.5-2-3-1, fast cpu decode 2.85 vdimm
    mem bandwidth: 2726mb
    cooled w/ sk6 & 33 cfm papst, AS3 - load about 54 deg C.

Still haven't been able to break the 2300 mhz barrier, but I'm gonna do some ductwork to the cpu and see if that will help.

I just got my 2100+ (also from Newegg, along with a whole bunch of other goodies ) yesterday evening. A week 49 AIUHB. I haven't really had a chance to overclock it yet, but it looks promising so far. BTW Stang_Man, what was your week #? I'd assume it's the same, but I'm just wondering.

i just tried to unlock by connecting the 5th L3.... and... no go..

i also tried doing the zif socket with the little piece of wire, and i couldn't get my cpu in, so i just said screw it.. i used a piece of an ATA/100 cable like SPQQY did..

Any ideas which is better for OC, a AX 2100+ AIUHB 0248 or AX 2100+ AIUHB 0249 or maybe a later build, like 0301 or 025x ?

A fair few people have said the earlier ones are better, some have said the later ones are not as good. Then again a few have had good results with the later ones.

There is in a sense a correlation between good cooling the right voltage and compatible hardware and not to say the least, good luck.

    Hope this helps,

They will fall at his feet....... But eBay @ZZHOLE still ripped me off!

sorry I saw a lot of people don`t hit high on that 2100+ so I don`t take the change anymore.

I don't want to take chances either, this is why I was asking which is better.
I have a friend that owns a computer shop and I can get whichever build date I want, but until I know I get a good OC for sure, I won't get any.
He only tried one 2100+ AIUHB 0249 and he hit 2300MHz at 1.70V easy.
But the rest of the CPUs we cannot touch unless I buy one, because it's not very fair selling used and heavily OCed CPUs to people after that, is it ?

wel why not, most of the people even don`t know wat OCing means, if he knows whitch cpu clocks good you must buy it or I thing your a bit crazy.

That's exactly it, we don't know which one OC's best so the only way would be to test them all, and he didn't agree to that. If we fry or brake any of the CPUs, it's out of his pocket, so....

Anyway, that's why I am trying to find out if there's a rule to tell which code/color OC's best.

if you only get 1.75V to the chip nothing would die en you know enough to find out witch wan hit the most.
