Great job JC on first to 22k! What are the Radeon clocks? The ORB seems to be down so I can't access the details.

Also, did the Madonion-Futuremark change just come from nowhere? I had never heard a thing about it even though I'm over there a lot.

The highest I ran the GPU at one point was 501.8 , mem 393 ... but this started locking up so I went for 495/393 (391 in nature to prevent over-artifacts)

    cheers

PS : funniest thing .... even on this day of benching, my main rig = 3D rig has folded about 30 pts already! lmao

LOL well actually no.... I heard they were good .... installed a clean O/S and the new drivers ... did the usual tweaks ... benched (I had dont a bench before I formatted for comparison) and ended up with 60 points less than with the 93's ... which was just one run to the next .... I found performance to be exactly the same. But I hear the performance in AA modes has been improved.
Since it didnt lose me any pts there was no need to re-format back to the older drivers

What helped was going from 472/391 to 495/393 on the card

congratulations man, I saw your score in the hall of fame last night at madonion.com when I was searching around holicho's website and found the link there.

what do you run the videocard at to get nearly 500 mhz outta it?

If my computer did not weigh so much it would be a great idea to give it taste of russian winter!!! brrrr

    Kunaak :

Last night my score was still 21660

I am running nothing more than a waterblock on a voltmodded 9700. Cold water from the freezer gives me a few hours benching at 2-3C water temp... thats all it took, no pelts!

Excellent job! Your persistance and hard work has payed off. I was wondering what card you are using? Is it a 9700 pro or are you using the Hercules card?

I thought I read somewhere that was the card you were using. Obviously it works for you. How much better is it performance wise than the 9700 pro? What's the price difference?

    they're not much more expensive.

Performance wise... well it comes out of the ATi factory like any other card.... same PCB, different colour ..... you need to get lucky, or try a lot of them... they're all different :s
