Hi !

Just got my ABIT-KD7 few days ago !

Some things are unclear for me:

1. My Radeon9700 doenst get above FSB 175 - does make artefacts. (?!) I had an EpoX 8K3A before, where I could go up to 195MHz until the Radeon was on its end.
2. I cant set CPU Decode to Fast above ~150MHz FSB (with Corsair DDR400 CL2 v.1.1)

I installed my old ATI PCI Graphiccard and got this @ 210FSB Turbo Timings (including 1 Command Rate):




Not too bad, i think...

When i compare the 3DMark Score of Abit ~ Epox, the Abit scales much better... even with 20MHz lower FSB and 100MHz lower CPU, the Difference between these Boards are loosy 200 3DMarks...

I think the epox set some agp/pci timings lower on higher fsb´s... but i´ve seen much scores on madonion, with the r9700 & FSB > 200... whats wrong ?!

I also see, mrice got CPU Fast Command on 217FSB !

I think i know why you cant run fast as high as you want to..I remember that someone found out(or thought) that FAST on the KD7 is the same as ULTRA on the KX7-333..And the last board is what MrIcee has..i think.
