    Talking DDR333MHz @ DDR494MHz

    Hello to everybody,

At September 2003 I bought a NoName 512MB PC2700 DDR333MHz with Infineon chips. Five months later I started the burn-in of that module. I burn-in that module for over 500hours and take me about 3 months to finish it. The maximum voltage I gave to that module was 3v, from 2.5v (default). Now I buy a P4 3.0C and I start the burn-in again using 1:1 dividers on my Abit IS7-e. I don’t know if that is a record or impossible to do it on a NoName memory module, but I’m surprised from that memory…

I cool the memory using the Tt Alu Heatsink and a Tt SmartFan2 8cm…

Until now the rock stable result are the following:

Finally, but with some errors at, MemTest+ 1.20…

Now I try to "catch" the 500MHz… (sorry for my bad English)

Nice oc, sometimes you can get lucky with the generic mems. Could you give us a picture of the heatsink attached to the memory?

that is some damn fine work, DMylonas! I used to have some generic PC2100 that did ~DDR440 w/ 2.9v. Didn't ever find out what chips were in them before I sold the suckers.

single channel is only 5-10mhz faster, if you are lucky.

    Worth a go though

How is the fan held over the ram? maybe I can do that with my OCZ EB when I get it, to cool it well with a 80mm fan. I would be trying for some high fsb.

"MkzK" your module is PC3200 DDR400Mhz.... The 260MHz - DR520MHz, are good.... Can you reach the 300MHz - DDR600MHz with that module?
