    Where to buy high-end video cards: GeForce 6800/GT/Ultra - X800 Pro/XT

Hopefully we won't be needing any more, 'Where can I buy X video card ?' threads I'll try and keep the list updated with the 5 cheapest (or ONLY) places to buy these online. Next to the item in blue is NewEgg's in-stock price. Please reply to the thread if you have a store that could be added to the list. I'm listing only those that claim to have the item in stock. I'll also try and add local special deals such as BestBuy, CompUSA, Circuit City, etc... Prices do not include shipping. [Well some do, if they are free]

Here is what they sent me today

Thank you for ordering from Gateway. We have received and processed your order. When we ship that order, we will send you another e-mail confirmation.

Order status: Your Gateway order has been placed and is currently being processed. Your estimated arrival date is 08/03/2004.

That ship date is the same Release date for Doom 3. i wonder if that was planned?

I added a few more for the XT (XT PE is the only card available in AGP, PCIe will have a XT non-PE)

You might want to talk to someone at LiveWarehouse.com: http://store.yahoo.com/livewarehouse/atirax8xt25d.html It says "Usually ships in 2-3 business days." 'Usually' being the operative word ...

eVGA 6800 GT available at newegg for 399.

    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...130-203&depa=0

sapphire and powercolor X800 pros instock at newegg too.
    at fair prices-kinda.

    EDIT:

    The Sapphire version here.
is the exact one needed to flash to the X800 XT.
you want a full fledged XT soon, this is the card that will do it.

    and for $418.
    not bad
