Anyone ever heard of this block before? A friend of mine who's running a computerstore got this yesterday

They must be going for tiny block award or something, that looks pretty diddy. Be interesting to see a review soon. Definately looks like there not interested in catering for TEC's any more
Dave
A64 @2720 w/ RBX, DFI NF4 Ultra, Radeon X800XL w/ Maze 4, Antec NeoPower 480, 1GB Geil PC4000, IIyama 19" monitor and maxtor diamondmax 80 + 30GB
I still have a DD maze 2.2 Running dual tecs.
Man these blocks are getting smaller and smaller
Dont even ask where i've been!!!
hi mate,
would you be able to ask your mate to take a picture from above, just trying to see if it's using jet impingement like the Cascade or if it's using a small pin design.
Cheers
The TDX is basically a RBX with only 2x barbs, the channels are turned 90* and yes, the jets still there. I'm not sure yet if there is any performance gain over the RBX, basically its a new revision of the block that uses 2 barbs instead of 3.
Oh, and there will be full support for XP, P4 and A64 as far as I know.
Ok, thats good to know. Whens it supposed to come out? Thanks.
Yeah now i see it, it looks like a RBX cut in half, only a bit more triangular. That its triangular is logical since the channels are turned 90 degrees, this'll improve the flow for the new design.Originally posted by Arkangyl

LOL the plexi-top is exactly the same shape as the rbx's. It seems a bit wider where the intake barbe is, the RBX is more square shaped.
It seems small maybe this one wont cover the entire heatspreader either, like the RBX on a P4. I hope it does cover the entire heatspreader cos it defitnetly looks better, in therms of cooling i dont think its matters(much anyway).
the fact that it supports A64 is merely logical, i would be stupid not to since that's a very popular platform/cpu
BTW is not on DD site yet, but i think it'll cool a little better cos the water is near the core\die longer, which is the main hotspot even with the heatspreaders.
