Vapo LS v Mach II ST & GT 190w load temps

I think this is a pretty interesting graph - check out the temps at 190w.

Acording to that graph, the LS perform worse than their old Vapo PE, and somehow i just dont think thats the case.

Really... -11c @ 100w is just to ed up. No way the LS is that bad.

If anyone would like to translate or make a summary of that review in english it would be very nice, cause I skipped my french-classes in school.

    Asetek takes again a snap...

Aprés to be shaken by the description of some a little doubtful commercial practices, Asetek are not at the end of their sorrow. Indeed, in a few days, comparative gathering Vapochill LS, the Mach ST and the WP should normally be published. I had the occasion to see the table of results. On this one, one can see that T° given by the LCD of Vapo LS are archi archi false. For example, T°, with 180W, is of +3.6°C and the LCD announces beautiful a -26!!! Ca becomes really anything.... For the file, it is here. Moreover, the letter of setting in residence that we received from Asetek asking for the withdrawal or the modification of our file us was well used... to light my chimney

If I could actually understand a word that reviewer typed I would tell yah... But I was more interested in the translation of "Asetek sent us a letter to remove or edit our test, it came in good use.... to light my chimney"

I can't get enough of that...

But in any cases, those temps are of course very odd indeed. And 3.6+C for only such low wattage seems to be a joke...

This guy has to drop the crack pipe. We have no review action going on with them, why we of course not would ever try to comment on it either. If he states that we have, he should be able to post the reply from us I guess?!?

They made a WaterChill review, where they used results "borrowed" from another site. We told them to drop that.

without saying too much, these results seems a "bit" strange.... With regard to the scheme they made, it does not seem to include figures from any of our products ?!?

There have never been any reason not to trust our performance charts and temperatures in the past. This is no different with the LS. Obviously this is so far off, that we cannot even take it seriously

Kind of hard to take these temps seriously, as there is nothing said about the way they measured and delivered the heat load - as well as placement of temp sensors ...

Unfortunately, my french isn't good enough to ask for such info in a 'commentaire'. 1 1/2 years of french lessons and gained nothing more than the ability to read the most basic texts ...

But come on, there must be some Canadians reading this who can help us out, right?

He does mention that it's enough to light his chimney, I think what he was really refering to was his crackpipe

    "Asetek takes a shot"

Seriously, the gist of the article is the reviewer is exposing some alleged misrepresentation (quote "doubtful practices") on the cooling performance of the LS. Clearly, the reviewers testing methodology is not explained in any level of detail rendering his review not very credible in my eyes....

    I'll let Asetek reply further...
