    Unhappy need vdimm mod done to my nf7

    would anyone be willing to do this to my board? I want to get about 3.2v to my ram. I have no idea how to do it, and dont want to risk messing anything up. I know there are plenty of u here who have done it b4 and know exactly what ur doing.

    if u live in texas, that would be preferred, and I could send u my board or possibly even meet u some where.

    let me know, thanks.

    Why not have a look in the local phone book, for a TV repairman type and ask if he has the soldering skills needed for that little resistor.

    You can get the pics from motherboardfaq.

    hehe.

    With a little practice you should be able to manage yourslf, if you cant find a local expert.

    hehe... i remember when i wanted to do it myself and was so afraid coz never done soldering before... so i went to a local tv repair shop wit hmy board and the guy said that "it extremely dificult job to to" and asked for $165!!!! said he needen 3 hours to do it...
    so i got sooo pissed that same day went to radioshack, bought what's needed, pulled out old KT400 board, practiced for an hour and finally did vdd and vdimm mods, even with some extra stuff like molex connector with wires soldered to vdimm and vdd checkpoints... then went onto my Power PC and Cooling power supply....

    it's not that difficult like it seems... i never soldered before and did all that... believe in yourself, man

    Sounds like he was to scared to do it, and asked that rediculous sum so you would go away.

    I will also throw my hat in the ring Hamster.

    I have the same board and have modded a good 7 of them so far.

    Even did one for a member here: faruquehabib

    As long as you cover shipping here and back, plus a few bucks for parts, I will do whatever mod you want on that thing. Whether it be Vdd, Vdimm, or Vcore.

    I modded mine and get well over 3.2 Vdimm.

    PM me if interested.
