    Mobile 2400+ rocks!!

    After having three CPU's that couldn't get past 2.2-2.3ghz(2-1700+ and a 2500+) I picked up a Mobile 2400+ for newegg and here is what I have:

    AXMH2400+FQQ4C
    AQZFA0344SPMW
    Brown with light purple core

    OK, heres some numbers so far. The temps are idle/load, load was for 10min under Toast so I don't know if there rock stable yet. Voltage is what windows shows in Hardware Doc(.05 less than BIOS)

    11.0x200mhz= 2.2ghz @ 1.55v 28.0c/34.0c
    11.5x200mhz= 2.3ghz @ 1.60v 31.0c/36.0c
    12.0x200mhz= 2.4ghz @ 1.70v 35.0c/39.0c
    12.5x200mhz= 2.5ghz @ 1.79v 39.0c/42.5c
    13.0x200mhz= 2.6ghz @ 1.97v 45.5c/53.5c
    13.5x200mhz= 2.7ghz @ 2.23v reboot on Win splash screen

    SiSandra @ 2.6ghz
    CPU Arithmetic- 9853/4082
    CPU MultiMedia- 23789/24438

    Right now I'm surfing at 2.6ghz but its why to hot to run 24/7.So I'd say 2.5ghz is max I'll get on air, and 2.6ghz on water. I think it would do 2.7ghz with phase-coolingI 'll be buying a Prometia cooler later this year hopefully it'll let me push this chip to 2.8ghz Off to find max FSB.

    Well FSB maxed out at 233mhz (boards limit) so I guess I'll have to wait for the Prommie. Ran stable a 11x233mhz 1.95v(2.57ghz) but just way to hot for air. Will keep it at 11x225mhz 1.85v(2.48ghz) for now. Topped out at 50.5c after 1/2hr of Toast.

    I got one of those that I'm running in an old EPOX 8RDA+ and it'll do 2300 with 1.825 v (MBM says 1.87 v). I've been a little hesitant to push the voltage up too much though since the default is 1.45 or something like that. I have pretty good air cooling on it, a Dr. Thermal Extreme with a Delta screamer on it. It runs under 40C under load so I guess I could pump more into it.

    they can take the same volts as normal bartons, if your cooling can handle it you can push it up to 2.5v seen that on asian forums. some people have been running their chips at 2.5v for months without a problem at all... you just have to keep them cool.

    i really wonder why intels cpus crap out at high voltages while amds cpus can take huge volt loads. i havent seen a single axp that was killed by too much voltage...

    been running 2.1v on my xp1700+@2.3ghz for months... ON AIR!

    cpu temps were around 55°C and a couple of times my cpu shut down because i set the overheat protection to 65°C in bios, but the cpu is still running at 2.3ghz just fine... only need 1.9v on my new system, a result of the more stable vcore because of the HQ mosfets of the a7n8x and the modded more stable fortron psu.

    Nice work there! My mobile 2500 is doing 12x200 @ 1.75v, prime95 and 3dstable. Temp are about 31~33C prime load. Mine will post at 2.8ghz, but I can't get into windows. I was actually prime stable at 2.6ghz, but took like 1.9v ish, more then I wanna run into a chip that has a stock of 1.45...At least right now anyway. I guess I didn't try lower then 1.9v @ 2.6ghz though...Just what I ramped it up to when I tested it...

    I agree! I have an early step 2500+ that i fed 2v on air & 2.2v chilled and i would've gone higher but thats all my 8RGA had to give. Now it's sitting in my everyday rig @1.85v on air. I've also had alot of 1700+'s that i've done the same to. I tried to kill them
    but it never happened. So come on CRANK IT UP!

    Do you guys think I should get one to replace my 2500+ mobile? My 2500+ doesn't like any volts higher than 1.8

    Mines at 2507@1.9vcore, I'm running SETI and temp is 40C. I had it up to 1.925 but the temperature goes up quite a bit and I don't want to turn up my Tornado, it's not worth the extra noise to me.
