    That would be interesting. I wonder how loud ATI would laugh...the funny thing is that they might actually do it (you could claim the GPU caught fire).

    If you're going to rma it as a joke, see if you can also heat the pcb itsself up with a heatgun and warp it. So it makes a rather odd shape. Oh, and take off the ram chips first

    AHHAHA, you could tape the stock heatsink on with scotch tape, like you just rap it around the card a couple times, over the agp pins and everything.

    Youd be surprised at what they will rma...... I pulled off a couple of ramchips off my 9700p and just glud it back and they sent me a new( refurb) card...... its worth the try....
