Use this one for the V-core.
    Just pin 7.

The 6301 is up top left next to the socket.

    Hi ctgilles

    also some bios here:

    http://www.n3dt.com/bios/main.html

    OPP:

my IT7 only shows 2.99-3.02 when the volt in bios is set to 3.2 V
I agree with you this board need som good ram.
    I can go to 225 Mhz 3431/3442 stabil with corsair 400 DDR v 1.1
a little more volt will help I think.

    Funny,

    Just got the corsair 400c2 v 2.1
They kan go 232 Mhz but the volt need to bee 2.9 ?
    at 3.0 its only 228, same at 2.8 V
I thange the alu-headspreder to cupper it gave 234 unstable.

The Mem are still the problem, going at 181 mhz (P4 2.533) 3/4 the ram have to do 242.

Any clues on how to get the 3.2V from this board? After 2.9 mine only shows 2.96-2.94 no matter what I set it too.

Well, I tweaked my PSU a little bit and I get a little higher voltage on the vdimm. I dunno though. Its now at 3V and won't go any higher no matter what.

Does anyone know if the BIOS will work for the IT7 MAXII?
Currently the IT7 II only allows for 2.8v, thought about vMod but if the BIOS works I might try that first.

The original 8H bios provides a 3.2 Vmem. It's available at Abit.

Hardware limitations on the Vmem. JC and I worked on a Vmem mod, it works, but max Vmem is 3.04V. The controller IC is speced
up to 3.5V, so something else is limiting it. The MOSFET that drives Vmem feeds off of the 5V line, that's why Chong managed to squeeze out a little more.

Unhappy Is it the same Vmem regulator as the KX7/AT7/KG7 ?

    Hi Ddtung,

Is the MemVoltmod on IT7Max the pin3 on one of the 2 chip with 16 pins? in the corner...

    Talking Where are you Ddtung??

We need your expertise, to get more mem-volt out of the Abit IT7Max.

The mem speed at low (3.04volt) is the limit

238 is limiting my FSB at 178. The P4 3Ghz come this month, and we are puching 4Ghz.

My Winbond 4.5 can go close to 250 at 3.3 volt
