    Some 2.4B @ 3600 goodness, Twinmos @ 260 Mhz

After receiving a brand new 4PEA+ from RMA, I decided to test my new 2.4B, week 51 Costa Rica, which I previously tested on my trusty old IT7. I knew the cpu would go over 3600Mhz with 1.65V but I wanted to see what these TwinMOS/Winbond PC3200 chips might do on the 4PEA+.
Knowing that this cpu could do over 200Mhz on the IT7, it would be nice to see if this memory could run @ 250Mhz and maybe even further.
Unfortunately, the FSB on the 4PEA+ is limited to 200FSB, where the IT7 can go up to 250Mhz. I hope that Epox will release a bios for this (but I doubt they will ) Thank god, the board has the 3:4 setting as well, so no mods needed
Anyway, here are some benches from this marvellous cpu and excellent memory.

    256MB PC3200 TwinMOS/Winbond BH5
    Prometeia cooled
    Memory voltage : 3.2V
    AGP Voltage : 1.80V

I haven't tested anything further (no 3dmark or so).
Just wanted to see how high this memory might go.
I tried 264Mhz but systems rebooted while booting XP. Even the slowest timings didn't help.

You can go above 200FSB on 4PEA using setfsb (SetFSB for GA-8IEXP Ultra Version 1.4e <- this one will work w/ 4PEA)

    Superb stuff

No, in Aachen, Germany, where I buy most of my hardware, 55€ a stick is cheap.

The SL6RZ are almost impossible to find over here too.
Only 1 store in germany sells them since this week, but I don't think they ship outside Germany.

Can't wait for the Canterwood boards to come out, should give some awesome memory bandwith and performance. Would be nice to compare a CW boards vs my 4PEA+
The first Gigabyte boards should be available by early next week, in 2 versions.
A cheaper version at approx. 150-160€ and the top version, with all whistles and bells for around 210€. At least, that's what they told at the store. They sell mostely Gigabyte boards, so they might be right. We'll see.

That memory is so great, nice job! Is there some cooling added on the memory? I'll buy me some but i must find a shop that ships to france cause the only shop in france sell it for 120€ with MTEC chips

No additional cooling, just 2*80mm fans blowing into the case, that's it.
The modules don't get warm either.

Where in France do you live?

I think your reading Bulldog20's screen shots by accident. Jupiler's are showing an 18x multiplier.

Nice OC on the memory, and yet again the cooling prowess of the Prometeia contributes to another fine overclock. All I can say is, thank the Overclocking God's for Chip-Con!!!

Darn, where I live nodoby has SL6RZs, and I really wanted to get me one.
But I guess they should be available soon, or at least I hope so.

Well, I heard from 1 guy over here in Belgium who bought a boxed 2.4B, and he got a SL6RZ, but the FPO# started with a "7", from Phillipines.

I'm buying my first Pentium chip in over three years since my PIII 500MHz, would you guy's have any recommendations for me here in the States? My price point would include the 2.4 to the 2.53, but of course if there were a great overclocking 2.26 I'd go with it, as long as their 533FSB. Any suggestions for good overclockers?

    P4 2.4B SL6RZ, of course
If you can find it, but I hear Outpost.com guarantees the stepping when you order.

Jupiler, I hear the only good SL6RZ are the ones that come from Malay or Costa Rica, the others aren't quite that good.
