Sang LN2 benching live at CERF 2006

Last week the 2006 edition of Computer and Electronics Romanian Fair took place (largest anual IT event in S-E Europe), and sang was invited by www.itdirect.ro for some live LN2 benching. I was glad to assist him, it's a important step for the romanian overclocking community and hopefully this type of events will become more popular in the future. Alot of our team (crazypc.ro) members were present and lend a big helping hand so to make this a success ... special thanks to xwoodoo, Zyklon5, Dio and spiderr.

The benching setup was as follows:

    PM 780ES /w IHS, on LN2
    Asus P4GPL-X + CT-479, both fully modded
    2X512MB Corsair PC3500 BH5 + M1 BLACKBOX vdimm supply
Gainward 7900GTX, vmodded, on Prometeia Mach II GT

    Pics of the setup:

Me and sang preparing the setup (i'm the big guy ):

First drops of LN2, Prommy powered, DT-200 is a little off i think:

A little pretesting, 20s SPi at about 3.8ghz with low RAM clocks on 3D tweaked OS, Nature looks interesting too:

Lovely FPS trough 2001 with CPU at 3.9Ghz, 244Mhz 2-2-2-5 and 860/1006 on VGA:

And finally, a frontpage score: 50747

The setup had ALOT more left in it, but it wasn't not even the time or the place to push it further ... 30C ambient temps, 90+% air humidity, condensation stopped us 2 times, so we had to clean everyting and remount the tube and insulation. Overall was a successful demonstration, almost everyone agreed it was THE thing to see at CERF 2006.

my biggest surprise was that it really got to the public, i mean they really enjoyed "the show", some even stood still during the time-outs not to loose their places near the action

    Me: No why?
Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle
