If you have multimeter you should measure resistance from pin 4. And if you could post larger picture of this area, we will know where you should solder resistor.

...on the ground. How experienced you are with voltage mods? Have you done it before?

What is your max clocks now? Do you know the Vcore in 3D mode?

    Experimence - 3 volltmods : FX5200, FX5900 and GF6200

    My default Vcore is 1,05V - need at least 1,2 - 1,3 V like on 7600GT

Now max GPU is only 450 - I want at least 600

I posted my results with the volt mod using the pencil trick on another forum, including photos and graphs as well. The 7600GS appear to overclock fairly well at 600/485 at 1.32V.

Thank you SF3D. I used your tips as a starting point.

    Welcome Anthony Rogers!!!

Could you post your results here also. I can't view them in your link. I'm interested to get one of these budget cards too.

I'd hate to double post on two forums, but I'll post the 3dMark06 plot and the table here also. I've moved the images to imageshack hosting, so maybe that work be better.

Since I've had so much luck overclocking the Leadtek card, I'm thinking about getting another to run in SLI, before they start changing the revision or chips used, etc. I'm also planning on making a simple circuit with a switch so that I can switch the mod on and off for both cards.

    Best regards,
    Anthony Rogers

It appears that the active HSF does a fairly good job of cooling even when overclocked, as compared to the passive HS from other reviews at Newegg and below at HardwareZone. The HSF is also fairly quiet and not audible above the other fans in the PSU, Big Typhoon, and 120mm case fan

THis is just VGPU mod rite? is there a VMEM mod? Anthony have you done both mods because your memory is running over a gig in your other post, and that seems quite high.

Yes, you are absolutely correct that it's too high. I have since corrected the post. Thank you for pointing out my typo.

The maximum memory clock that I could achieve was 970 (or 485 in coolbits).

All further replies should be directed towards the thread in at Guru3D to consolidate the discussion.

THat site is in Russian...LOL! Also the PCB is blue which reminds me of the non-reference PCB Galaxy version volt mod already featured here. If this is true the above site is no help.
