    Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 965 Results/Dual Core+HT

    ASUS P5WDG2-WS Bios and CPUZ don't support 965XE. So CPUZ has wrong 965XE information.


    But Intel web site can find correct information.

    Support C1 Control



    C1 control can control CPU to use lower power when you don't use any files.



    CPU will run full speed when you use Prime 95.

    CPU String is read as Genuine Intel(R) 6GHz ES as its an overclocked engineering sample, run it stock speed and it'll give the correct 3.73GHz string

    I think Bios don't suppot 965XE. When I use 266X14, it still shows 6G.

    I only really use the D955XBK and D975XBX but I think I've seen similar with my 955XE chips, its just due to them being ES's and the max multiplier of 60.
