The Official Team Group UCCC Standard & OC Stability Bench

Folks, time to offically introduce Team Group's another power 2GB set Xtreem series,
that is, Overclocking DDR 500MHz Dual Channel Cronus series UCCC

From the official webiste, its specifications shows as followed:

    Model / Speed:PC4000 DDR500MHz
    Capacity: Dual Channel Mode
    CL rated: 3
    Team Group part number: TXDR2048M500HC3DC

    Official description:

" The Team Xtreem UCCC series is a line of high-performance memory modules bringing you advanced speed

grades, and low latencies, and especially designed for performance enthusiasts who want to challenge to

the limits of performance without worrying about data loss or corruption, mysterious intermittent

errors and display problems, or worse-the dreaded BSOD!

The modules are based on the Samsung UCCC memory IC, a new generation chip produced under

o.11 micron processing. This memory IC achieves very high frequencies (more than 500MHZ, against a

    standard of 400MHZ), at a low voltage(less than 2.7V under 500MHZ operation).

In order to achieve maximum performance, the SPD of Xtreem UCCC series is specially designed under

500MHZ CL=3-4-4-8 in dual channel mode. In BIOS on motherboard, only FSB item needs to be changed from

    200MHZ to 250MHZ.
The ‘Xtreem UCCC’ series ensures extreme performance without the fear of unexpected interruptions.

And, remember, each Xtreem module (as with any TeamGroup ram module) is lifetime- and satisfaction! -

    guaranteed.

*Warranty Void in cases of manmade failure or natural disasters."

So, that's see the module standard and Some overclocking stabilities bench:

    The Ram set:

well I told you guys before, 0552 UCCC has somethig fun to do..sit tight

Please note, this ram is rated @ DDR500 3-4-4-8 2.7v

Let's see what can I do

    Testbed:

    Motherboard: DFI NF4 Ultra-D, bios 1114
    OS : Windows XP sp2
Video card: Asus NV 6200 TC
Cooling: PCICE Single stage -50c loaded
    CPU: AMD 4600+
    PSU : SilverStone 600w ST60F
HD: Western Digital 2500KS Raid 0

Let 's see the super pi mod ver.1.5
oops, looks like I set it as 3-4-3-8

    1m:

    8m:

now because i use dual core processor, so by running dual 32m, I will enclose digital camera shots
, 2 shots for ddr500. Hope that would verify my results.

    1. run 1

    2. finished:

    windows captured:

    ************************************************** ************************************************** **

Well here you go, now, how many vdimm you assume this can be run about DDR600?

    check it out.
All the benches are non- reboot running.

    1m:

    8m:

now, let's bring it on dual 32m, now, I have 5 pics from digital camera
and I show everything I can.

    initial run~5th:

    6~11

    12~17

    18~22

    23~finished:

    Windows cap:

    now, some more extra...

    DDR620...spi 1m and cpu verify..
Take ca guess, will I break WR for 2gb set database?

Thank you for all those who love TeamGroup.

still got 31m more to go... but i think you can do it just make sure you go for 312mhz, i saw some ballistix somewhere at 311mhz

    i'm liking those 552 UCCCs
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

Got my set yesterday.. they both work individually at 280 at least with 2.63v (didnt try farther Mhz), but I can't get dual channel over ~273 without tons of errors in test 5. (>15000/pass). I think my mem controller is t3h suck Or maybe it's the mobo. Though I still haven't brought them up to the rated voltage..

Screenies to come, I have some video encoding/cpuburn to do tonight but I will test some more 32m tomorrow hopefully.

FYI, since apparently I can't run very high MHz with this CPU I've bought some of the Team 3-3-2-8 PC4000 to run lower MHz/tight timings and I will be selling this Not bad sticks at all but something in my setup can't handle it.

Kev, I know you can find it in those sticks to get the WR and with your skills it won't take too much searching. Not thinking of shooting for a WR those are some killer sticks.

Impressive clocks on that set, Kevin! Let's see if there is anything more left it it!
There's more and more of those "DDR590-600 8-4-4-3.0-1T" sticks from different manufacturers, popping out everywhere and it looks like TG joined the pack...
    Good Luck!

ok, the rule for running strength thing under DFI NF4 series board is as followed:

    1. When you have phase change cooled, you wanna use higher level of strength values, i.e.

    ultra-D: 7/3 (data) or 8/3
    Expert:7/4, or 8/4

    2. Air cooling or normal water cooling,
either 5/3 ~7/3 would work just perfectly

    ***********************************
decrease the strength can normally get higher fsb but it all depends on your memory controller on your CPU

how to find the proper value set?
try the strongest first, if cause unstable, decrease data strength first , then driving strength. i.e.

    7/3--->7/2--->7/1---->6/3....

    hope it helps.

    *************************************************

Michael, looks like you're promoted huh? Congrats.!!
    I will challenge the DDR622~625

    Impressive results, as always

Here in Europe those modules cost about 200€, not bad deal.

Other thing.. -50c loaded coldbug less X2? Not bad, I'd like to see how high that cpu can go
