The only drawback we encountered was the low fsb limit of the fx60 under phase. If we could get at least 240-250 mhz fsb I think we could get a lot better 3dmark scores especially from 2001. However our fx60's fsb limit under vapo seems to be approximately 230 mhz

You're right around 230-240ish htt @-37C evap temp or -46C on Vapo's lcd.
Did you try with MPS multiprocessor? It will give you xtra heat load.

Also Major did some testing with 233 divider.....http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ighlight=major

No actually we didn't try MPS Multiprocessor. It was only standard ACPI Multiprocessor in device manager. Would it make a difference about the fsb limit?

It gives xtra heat load, so you can have xtra time to set up clockgen and gpu tweaks before it freezes up in windows.
Major's tweak with 266 divider seems to work good with FX60 and single stage

Well I suppose raising the mem divider above 200 could help. I didn't think of that

Your scores seem a little low for those clocks, you might want to bump that memory a little ... here are my first tests, 24/7 settings and no LOD tweak:

And 2001 with higher clocks and LOD tweaked:

Our problem was fx60 couldn't make above 230 mhz when using phase change. What was your cooling when you make 250 fsb at 3ghz for example. If it's air or water we could have easily done that.
Other than that I'd like to know how could you make lod adjustments on x1900xtx. I know that ati tray tools last version (at least the last I know) don't recognize these cards. I was doing the lod tweak with the x1800xt but not with the x1900xtx

Everything was on stock cooling. My problem was with /12 divider for memory, the memory was clocking ~20Mhz lower than usual so for clocking the CPU higher i had to use /13.
You adjust LOD with latest version of ATI Tool, settings/driver tweaks/lod something.

I decided to give the system a last shot. And choose 233 divider from the bios for the ram and redo the 2001 test. It really affected very much

Stop using Overclocker and use ATI Tool instead, you will see an improvement in scores (even if the memory won't clock the same); Overclocker automatically increases timings when raising the memory clock.

I'm glad to see someone else confirm that the coldbug is related to HTT and NOT ram clock.

If you don't mind I'm going to start a thread about it and link to your results along with mine.

I started a thread about the coldbug and using the 233 & 250 dividers to overcome it, it can be found HERE

it's vdimm related. if he'd use TCCD, coldbug will not be an issue. better yet, kunaak's 2.2v ram

I has nothing to do with Vdimm, Vldt, or Vcore. Its stricktly a HTT/temp issue

I agree with you Major. Cold bug is directly related to the cpu's htt speed. Of course you can use our scores in your topic
