Been testing the board all weekend.
There is alot of space for all type coolers.
No more serial ports, its using the same type of heatpipe cooling as the asus an32-sli. It gets fairly hot. Going to have to put a fan on it it reaches about 68c
up to 1.8vcore, 3.2vdimm, nb volts have 2 settings on up to 1.4 the other up to 2.0.
They are alot of options in the bios for the ram.
The bad thing is it keeps resetting to cas 3 when using bh5 on every reboot.
If you use cas 2.5 then it will stay at every reboot.
Using a 3700+ and some ocz 3200vx I was able to 11*260 stable using 1.6v and a 166divider for the ram at 2/2/2/5
I was able to get some 2*512 crucial ballistix at 265 235/3/3/8 stable at 265 1:1 using 10*265 had to lower the multiplier.
Going to get an opteron this week and give it a go.
Also get some gskill.
Re those TMZ and KzG capacitors any good.
When running I kept the LDT at 600 for stability.
The board definitely needs another bios to solve the bh5/utt factor.
ABit has that +/- 10-60 mv for the vdimm I guess its for stability because it doesnt raise the vdimm past 3.2v.

265 is pretty low for ballistix..How high do they clock on other boards? Lets see if it can do some 300HTT

You have to play around with the TRFC, Read preamble, asyc lat to get them a bit higher...

But they should be able to do like 280mhz easily. On the asus a8n32sli i got 270easy but it was a b**** to get 280 stable...but the expert i could run up to 295

Hope Abit didn't get cheap with their quality. I wonder why they strayed away from using Rubycon caps. Another half baked product from Abit. Lets hope they actually support this product unlike their AN8 series.

Starting to??????? Heh thats why i dropped all but one abit board and thats still here cuz when i bought it for $200 it came with a jar of vaseline so it don't hurt as much........ I'll see what ATI has in store for the 580 chipset in the next week or so if things go right. O btw ABIT sent me one of those to test a while back(AT8) I couldn't say anything as I was under NDA till they released. Anyway never got to test it as it was DOA and they never sent me another after i returned it.
