P5WD2-E isn't 8-phase power, only the P5WDG2-WS workstation board is.

I know someone said anand, or one of the review places that has both boards, got higher FSB OC's with the -E. Is that the consensus all around? Or is it possible once people here get the -WS board they'll get the same max FSB as the -E?

The 975X supports CrossFire 8x8 and according to Intel it is the only chipset to support the 955XE which from what we've seen the 955X supports it fine. I also saw a review on HKEPC about the difference in performance between the 955X and 975X and the 975X was better overall, specially with the ability to do 8x8 on the PCI-Ex16 lanes, instead of the 16x4 by the 955X.

I've tried to find the page at HKEPC but I haven't had any luck. The only thing I saved on that review was the difference between CrossFire handled by the 9775X and 955X: HERE, but overall the 975X was faster than the 955X and nVidia's joke nForce 4 SLI.
