I was looking for something else to do with Super Pi and came up with this. Try getting into various minute segments with the lowest possible clock speeds. It requires some time and effort to get what these people have done and what we are looking for. More than just fast times. If someone has a lower (22.59 21.59 etc) or higher min. segment for a challenge feel free. I have a couple to start, a 24min and a 23min. with what I think are fairly minimal speeds. I think along with the Pi screen, a cpu-z and Tweaker should be good. Anything additional is fine as well. This is wide open any type hardware welcome. Here we go, if you can get into the 23's or 24's at a lower speed, let it be shown.
Someone has "WAY" too much free time, lol
Time to hit the club scene and find yourself a girl M8 some sarcasim
mmm,way to late for that..married, kids. 4m, geez, start it up and go do something and come back. Besides, I have a pair of computers on a kvm switch, it is not like I'm watching each second. Ohh, it is sad.
32m takes 20ish minutes. 3d01 takes almost as much depending on how many times you have to re run car low.
Yes, but with that you're aiming to get as high of a score as possible....with this you're aiming for a specific time and have to run the entire thing each time
@ gocchin "think I could have clocked a bit lower to make it under 24min. I had 6 seconds to spare" Maybe so, but you did not. Anyone can run 23's faster. In effort to keep clutter at '0' and be fair to others, repost lower speed 23 min. ...please.
crap eva2000, that is one of the lowest clock 23min. I have seen recently. I've seen a couple. (I've been getting blasted for having too much time on my hands) If you care to you could be in the 32m Lowclock Challenge, I think it will hold the top spot for awhile.
You really think so?
I think it's on par with this one:
I could have improved by tightening the subtimings, unfortunately i don't have this RAM anymore...

Those seem to be able to do Pi very well. That is a very good time for that speed compared to other type processors. EDIT** I've been under the weather last couple days, but I know what thread this is now. ( I did not see a smiley for brain fry)
Nice job bachus. That is really efficient. I've been trying to come up with a way to show a ratio that would reflect time/speed. I can't come up with anything meaningful.
It's not that exceptional, really. Bank Interleave kicked in with 2x512MB sticks, so result is somewhat better compared to your 2x256MB result. If you bench with a 1gig you'll see for yourself
If that's too hard, show me some TCCD that can run @ 3.7Vdimm
That wouldn't happen to be a fully tweaked run would it Steve? You stuck it in the coffin corner (i.e., you just barely slipped under the minute mark) very well but I have a feeling it could be done with the same timings at 1-1.5HTT less (hey, every bit counts!).

Fully tweaked - meaning......? It's basically just tweaked RAM settings on Server 2003. TBH, I don't think it's possible to run a faster 32m time @ that speed (11x270). If you take a look at the BH-5/UTT/LL stable OC thread, you'll see that this run is the fastest by far compared to others running similar cpu speeds.....

Yeah, I know the RAM is tweaked out, didn't know the OS though, thanks
Just kinda figured there's a bit more to get out of it when comparing to the TCCD (but I realized my TCCD timings weren't as tight as the ones used above but my UTT timings were).
Woot!!, I guess. That's really good. That is alot lower speed than I thought would possibe for 23min. When I think that though it many times goes down to a new level. Might be time to look at 22 or 25min. scales. It does take some time to run through the test, but it's also kind of fun to see what it takes to get there. @ bachus, it looks like the 1gb is worth about 3sec. I was considering changing to 256's to try but looks like I'll work with these more. Nice to see the post.
