Here is the one FX57 even stronger than my 0528GPMW

Sorry guys, really don't wanna waste you guys time, but I just can't help
Here is the cab2e 0531RPMW fx57 I test for my friend(think I will rob this)
Jesus, I can't believe what I got the bench results.
before I test that, I did google this stepping and batch. only got couple Japanese overclockers got this

let 's see the results, these results were all done under stock heat sink only
1.39v for cpu, and 2.72v for vdimm all the way

let's directly see from 3050mhz(I was start from 300x10 of course.)

    1.8m

    2. tried the 307x10...1m, wow passed

    3. how about 8m? sure.

    4. now, the main entres huh?
    310x10 super pi 32m

    a. inthe middle of process took by digi-cam:

    finished shot:

    windows capture:

so what you guys think? I will install the TT big typhone later and see what happend, from the info i read lastnight, Japnese overclocker has mention it's capable of doing 3.2g stable @ xp-90c cooler. Due to I am not that famliar to Japanese, , they mention about it's some kinda new rev. 13.0 instead of 10.0 like 0516wpmw has.

Damn! Kevin, have you ever counted how many FX-55/57 (130/90nm) CPUs you have benched or tested? That must be at least 20, isn't it?

It looks like some CPU with potential

So, we know about 0516/22/28/30 and 0531/33 must be with new revision.
Mine is on the way and hope it will be newer than 0530. It will be interesting to see how it will behave under -99C

Alright. Now that i think about it, it would be more interesting to see it under good air like the BT. So many FXs get phased that i'm used to just seeing big numbers, but knowing that it's under air is entirely different!

This and the opterons looks like proof that AMD will be bringing 3 Ghz to the table pretty soon!

just like my friend GoriLLakoS said CAB2E 0531 VPMW here
the chip is awsome on air, (does 1M spi @ 3150 and ~3100 for 32M on default Vcore)
There seems to be some issue with the controller when the temps go below 0.

    tested with BH5, UTT CH5

OPB what BIOS? 623_2 here .

hope i can find out whats wrong this sunday

Cold bug at 0C is BADDDD. Anyone have a positive source for the new 0531/0533 FC57 chips? Might have to pick up one for testing under a chilly1 VapoLS (-75C evap).

hrm, I don't think we can find that in US since AMD send certain batch to different places.
this one is from Japan. Friend travelled there and brough it back.

....maybe this is why the Japanese OCers do so well.....

Anyway, good to know, I'm sure FCG will probably try to get some contacts in Japan now.

So when is this FX gonna grow some hair on his chest and get some more voltage?

That's one crazy chip. Probably one of the few that justifies the price to some extent!
