NICE OC Fishy!!! Is that just a suicide shot or is it stable enough for Pi? Also, what vcore did it take to get there? Congrats

Edit: just saw the other post

1.75v. Computer locks at 365 FSB.

Going for Superpi now. Should run in around 5200-5300mhz.

All done. I think that is the fastest Dual Core.

I don't think the dual cores SPi as fast as a single core, but that would still be one of, if not the, best SPi for a 8xx. PCMark/3Ds on the other hand would probably be insane

Was doing it in Vernon CT.

I don't have the room at my place, plus all my hardware has seemed to migrate there anyways.

Its not, best we could muster out was 26 seconds.

    I have a 650 & 660 on the way. Going for low 20s.

Boards maxed at 1.77v untill I figure out a way to feed it more.

Temps are still great, CPU has more in it. Needs either more voltage or better cooling, or a combo of the two.

Working on finding a lead on LN2. I don't have a dewer, and thats the biggest expense.

5.5 was a task to say the least. Figure its 300mhz faster than it was on Sat, with more tweaking maybe another 100mhz can be squezed out of it, but I don't have my hopes up.

    Fishy, check your PM.

That 660 on ice should rip arse for SPi. I keep watching you guys get better and better and it's making me want to give ice a try. Hmm...like 20 more posts until I can hit the classifieds and keep an eye out for a tube

Very impressive results on the dual core though...congrats!

Best effort so far. Now where is the SMP superpi?

yeah we did the benching at my place with pete's board, cpu, gpu, psu.

we definitely chewed through 14lbs of dry ice today. i've got a great local supplier who sells very small pellets for $1/lb.

we really need better cooling to go farther, i did the vcore droop mod and it stabilized the voltage and gave us about .07v more, which gave us 300mhz more for verification and 250mhz for pi. we are most likely going to borrow a very good 660 and rip some superpi. i need better ram though this centon caps way lower than the mushkin or corsair

no, not yet, there was condensation all over the board after taking off the tube, and not enough dry ice. it's a d0 so i'm not expecting much from it anyways.
