    Vapo XE modding

Yesterday and today i worked on a Vapo XE for someone, he is making a casemod with a LianLi V2100.

So he asked me i could lenghten the flextube and regass it and do some mods on it.

These pics will walk you trough the things i changed, i'll comment above each pic.
    have a nice read:king:

I placed a desuperheater to cool the gasses before they enter the condensor.

Then unbrazed the piece of tube between the suction filter/drier and flex hose.

After that i sawed the piece of extra flex line at the right dimentions. it is 20 Cm
    long.

Then i "widened" a copper piece of 1/4" so i could put the flex lines into it.

    Brazed one side of it.

Made a new tube to put between the flex line and the suction filter/drier, where the capillair comes.

Wraped the capillair back around the suction F/D, and placed it where it belongs.

This means at the exit of the liquid line filter/drier.

    Little overview.

Piece where the 2 flex line's come together.

    Little bit of frost frost

    The first boot.

    Some pics of the unit.

Tested on my venice and this is what i got, max superpi 1M stable.

Temps never got higher then -27

    Looking nice, very clean work.
    Which gas?

Can you tell more about "I placed a desuperheater to cool the gasses before they enter the condensor."
    How much did you gain?

    I charged it with R507, at 1bar

didn't test without desuperheater, R507 is stressing the compressor mor then 134a thats why

before i got it the display only said -20, but he said the tempsensor was doing wierd so i changed it too

I have a vapo LE in a custom case - just redone all the insulation shizzle and removed a kink in the pipework, I shall take some piccies for ya

    Nice job Jort

This means at the exit of the liquid line filter/drier.
That's not a filter drier, it's just an acumulator.

Hmm did you charge it with R507 only? I think the compressor will suffer but I might be wrong. Really nice job anyway!

Like your LS mod Do you know display temp at 200 Watt?

I just got a XE with BD35F. How long time do you invest in changing gas and so on?

Just so I know how much it would cost to geet done here in denmark

no id for the 200W heatload.

i'll might test it when where going to put some ln² on the 780 again.
so i can test the vapo for a moment.

mhh all the stuff i buyed was pritty expensive, regass a XE shouldn't cost more then 50-75 euro max
