btw, here are specifications of this chip

    http://www.analog.com/UploadedFiles/...1ADP3180_a.pdf

pdf says that max output voltage is 1,6v (i cant set over 1,6 in bios)

My mobo have 3 mosfets on each phase.

is that the same spot to measure the vdimm on a p4p800-se? the vdimm mod seems to be the same. also what about connecting the 3.3v line straight to the corresponding pin on the rear of the board? good, bad or fugly?

    thanks

Yes, should be the same for the SE. I don't like 3.3v to vdimm line mod.

    thanks!
i don't like the 3.3v direct thing as well, it's just easier to do. spent a good amount of time trying to solder to the lm358 .. i guess i'll move to grabbers before getting a hotair soldering station.

THX to Malves and j0nnyr0773n, mod works good .

    before mod:
    1,296-1,392v = 0,096v difference

    after mod:
    1,408-1,440v = 0,032v difference

I'm happy with these results .
