Talking Turok's WC PC Gallery!!! (Warning 56Kers)

    WELCOME TO MY GALLERY

This thread is an extention of the "Water Cooling Questions" thread I made before.
This thread shows images of the PC that was under construction in the "Water Cooling Questions" thread.
There are a total of 47 images
The project sarted with a month of reserch in January (2005) and 4 months of building and buying from Feguary to May (2005)
This is my first time using a WC solution. Im planning on upgrading to a better pump or dual pumps and a WB for the GBU and maybe
the chipset if I find a good 1/2 OD block

Please, dont rush through the picks.
Scroll sideways on sections with 3 pics in a row, and enjoy your visit

    Time Line

    Before it all started
These images are sketches I made on Photoshop where I try to replicate what could be my future PC.
I didnt have any parts at that time, I just had a vision
My main objective was to make a WC solution where I dont have to mod my case and can peform really well.

Scroll sideways, TWO images in a row

    First Progress
Here I get my Lian-Li PC-65B and start putting the Xoxide red Aluminum fans.
I made a sketch too to see how it would look like when its done (crappy sketch tho )

Scroll sideways, TWO images in a row

    Now we are getting somewhere
Here I start to get the rest of the pieces, so i start to build my PC
You can see that I sleeved everything, even the chipset fan
    "No UV, no fun"
I also put the fan with DFI aligned with LanParty on the user manual
Check out Halo 2 on my PC in S-Video and Digital Audio.
I may put the PS3 there in the future

Scroll sideways, THREE images in a row

The next group of images is the finished product

    Front
I made it so you can see the difference when the lights are on and off

Scroll sideways, TWO images in a row

    Back
In the back part, you can see that I have a black thing where external mobo connections go.
What it is is a piece of cardboard wraped in black duck tape and I just made it to the size and opened some holes. Everything I dont need is blocked and the only thing open is the Ethernet plug with the 2x USB below it and a hole above it where the tubes exit. Simple solutions to prevent modding my case

Scroll sideways, TWO images in a row

    Inside
I took pics of the side pannel window with the following light mods
    1) When all CC lights are off
    2) When only CC UV is on
    3) When only CC Red is on
I usually leave the UV on and I have the red in CC mod so my subwoofer can flash it when there is a beat

Scroll sideways, THREE images in a row

    Cables and Stuff
Here you can see all my messy cables and some other stuff.
The stuff are a power isolator that protects my stuff from strong surges (like thinder) and it filters my power (jsut a extra bonus there ), I also show my MX 518, Deck Fire keyboard, Xtrac Ripper XL mouse pad, Xbox controller, Speaker controller, water supply :P:, Modem, and Xbox connection of Digital audio and S-video.

Scroll sideways, TWO images in a row

    PC Screenshot
Here is a screenshot of the screen shown in the pics where the PC is done
If you ever wonder why my desktop is in spanish, its because its a Win XP Pro (spanish version)

Scroll sideways, ONE large image in a row

If you like a image and would like to see it in a higher resolution, just tell me.

Very nice setup! I love monster cores!

You are using a monster core with shroud and a TDX in your WC, what else?

    WC Setup:

    Pump: AX 50z + 1/2 OD fittings
WB: TDX w/ brass top and #4 nuzzle
Core: Weapon Monster core + shroud
Core Fans: 4x SanAce fans 120mm x 32mm (powered by a individual PSU)
    Tubes: Tygon 7/16" ID
    Fluid: Distilled + Zerex
Using a T line for filling

The length of the tubes used in the loop is about 6' 2" (this does not include T line)

Look closely at the pics and you can see where everything is

BTW, if you look closely, I have a Doom (1) case badge.
I really liked the Doom sequel until Doom3 killed it.
Hope its not the same with Quake 4.

and I never said this, but I never got the Venice core
    Got a nice deal for a FX-57
EDIT: I will change my signature later

So now everything is top-notch except the GPU, but I think its the best solution for me since SLI looks like a waste of money for me. Its too expensive and it wont last when the g70 and r520 come out.

Also forgot to mention that I fliped the core. I said this on the WC queations thread, but not here.
I fliped the core because it would get really cold when Im sitting there
I also fliped the core because it was less bending on the tubes, so I can get better flow

Im glad you guys like my PC.

If you want to see a pic in higher res, just tell me.

    Yep.
I still think it has empty spaces. I may have to change the position so the water on the T line starts to replace air with water.

Im Idling at 31 C and when playing games I get 38 C
Ill try to figure out if I can reduce these temps

You can see it on the pic. Since you asked, Ill consider that like asking for a more detailed pic, so Ill take a pic of the entrance right now

    Ok, here it is

The tubes enter where the on-board sound card should be. Since Im using a Audigy 2 ZS, I dont need that space, so I used it for the tubes.

I didnt duck tape that part. Its a piece of cardboard form a box that I covered with black duck tape and I opened some holes. I made it to the size, so it wont come off. Its really stable.
Nice solution so I dont have to mod my case.

The bottom stuff are the USB conenctors form the mouse and keyboard, and the third cable is the ethernet cable. Its all I need, so I just made one hole for it

My aluminum interior doesnt glow as much
as before because of touching it so much.
Would be nice to know a good method to
make it shine like new, like this:

My sound dampening padding isn't reflective at all and it covers almost every square inch of the case interior. The case doesn't look nearly as cool now and it doesn't sound any quieter, I should've never put it on

No its not dented at all, it just has this cool metallic finish that looks dented if you take a picture of it.

Yep. Just imagen the MX 510 in dark grey with metal bump effects on it.
The surface looks like that, but the fact is its really smooth.
EDIT: Also, imagine the MX 510 twice as acurate since the MX 510 is 800 dpi and the MX 518 is 1600 dpi.

The core has been running with the 4 fans on all the time.
Im glad I got the SanAce from Weapon, because the Delta fans are like 10dba louder, and with 4 fans with that much noise can get anoying.

The SanAce fans dont bother that much, they just sound like a PC air cooled with a lot of fans
