    Wow

Excellent top quality work as always!! Great job Chilly1.

Also nice to see a little bit of your work area. I like the wet rag idea on the vice.

What kind of torch and rods do you use?

Actual time spent on this system is around 90 hours or so. Includes a couple redos on the small system. I have been working on it since December. THe material for teh mod was hard to get and I needed to figure out the GPU config and condenser sizing.

That looks awesome, Reggie! I'm truly looking forward to you and FUGGER personally delivering my new toys this weekend. It feels good knowing that case is going to make it back to me in one piece.

Stoked is definitely the best word to describe how I feel. I've been patiently waiting for this for a very long time and the excitement within me can not be contained for too much longer. It's right up there with the feeling of buying a new car + winning an auction on a brand new pair of Nikes that you wore in the 9th grade + finally hooking up with the girl that your homies have been scoping out at the club for the last month --- all on the same day. Yes. The feeling is that good.

chilly is talking about granite flate surface plates, they are used in manufacturing and machining when a very flat referance surface is needed. they come in different sizes and tickness, along with degrees of flatness. you may see one advertised like this : 12"x 18" x 4" thick with a overall flatness held to within.00002" and paralell edgess held to within .00004". they are cut from granite to prevent warping, I've seen one 12 inces thick that weigh many tons. so if you are going to buy one on ebay, best to get a shipping quote first

The feeling definitely comes with the case. The actual car, shoes, and girl...well, we'd have to go out and get those on our own. I'm looking forward to my next feeling when I pick up a chilly1 LN2 container - maybe two.

EDIT: Reggie - Were you able to test with a simulated load? If not, that's fine. -45.1C and -32.3C unloaded are perfectly fine for my gaming system.

A few more questions came to mind, Reggie:

    - Does each phase change unit have a dedicated power switch/supply, or are they shared?
    - Are the temperature probes permanently fixated onto the blocks, or do I have to play it safe so they won't come loose?
    - What type of cooling fans were implemented? CFM? dBA? I'm scared of my wife yelling at me.

    Thanks.

Don't worry bro, if they are too loud, you won't be able to hear her yelling

Perhaps not. But the sound of a traditional Filipino wooden slipper violently making contact with the side of my head is a sound that will surely echo within my skull.

I have teh EVAPs done on a cnc machine they cut about 3 per hour the cut is complicated as it is deeper than it is wide. and kinda cuts in at a funny angle.

Well the system is about as loud as two refrigerators. I wish it were quiter. THe fans are CFM rated at 80 cfm each for the top condenser and 130cfm for teh bottom cooler. The top compressor is quiet but the bottom one is a little louder, as wilh all compressors ist is hit or miss for niose. I would not run this in a room where someone was sleeping.
