Got 4000+ San Diego , how about Cold Bug?

hi guys, I got this 4000+ San Diego this morning.
    Looks not bad at all.
After the some test results below, I try to get it under PCICE's cascade.
Too bad I can 100% confirm that San Diego still got COLD BUG
and even worse than venice does.
How, becuase it won't boot below -40 evap reading
    . I did observe
the temp at it get into windows, it's about -30 evap reading. Higher than that,
it just locked up and reboot itself.
Too bad, I don't have single change to try that. so I only do some serious Air cooling.[/color]

    here is the -115c again...

    Default Test:

    CPU itself:

** I feel Bachus is right about not to only run the pi 1m, so I run the 3d 05 instead of it.**

    all the default tests:

    some little bit OC actions:

I am really in bad mood now. so did not get any further, but I will get some water cooling results
    to see how it goes.

That's a real pain. A new cascade and you can't use it. I feel sad for you.

that sucks, AMD really needs to solve this
if this is your first night in xtremesystems,
    you have to overclock.

Man... That looks to me like ~$1700 just went down the drain

I hope I will swallow that the day FX-57 comes out, but I think it won't be cascade benchers first choice anymore

I'm telling you Kevin, there must be a way to get it to work... Like with my Winnie @ -47C evap. It will NOT boot WHATSOEVER at this temperature.
I always turn on the cooler and start my system. System does not boot but I let it running, to get hot. Then I turn off the cooler and wait until temp goes -10C on evap. Then I RESET and system boots to Windows. Once I'm there, I turn on the cooler and see how temperature drops to -44C on evap and -23C on CPU. I can do whatever I want at that point.
Problem is, that in 9 out of 10 cases, when I Restart the system it will not boot up again... BUT! Sometimes it does, when just before I RESTART it, I run just some of "Memtest for Windows" or "Prime95" to get it under load. Then I quickly restart it and it boots

Try those tricks if you haven't already. Or try to boot at different multis (like me, I can boot @ x10 but not @ x9... It freezes in Windows when I do that). Also, try to boot with divider on your memory...

    Whatever it takes, Kevin

The ONLY good thing about a cold bug, is that it put's benching back into the old days when everyone had approx the same CPU power, give or take a little from CPU luck...

For 3DMark racing, it's a leveling factor! EXCEPT that now FX55 130nM/cascade will rule for a while to come!!
