I'm curious about something... would you mind trying something for me?

After using the 6600 flashed bios, change your GPU ID to 6200 (in rivatuner) and see what kind of scores you get. I'd like to know if your score improvements are the result of the flash or of the drivers being optimized for more pipes/faster clocks.

I changed my ID from 6200 to 6600GT in rivatuner and I found an increase in performance without doing anything else. Please let us know!

Gt1 gets over 10% increase whereas the more gpu intensive GT2, GT3 and GT4 get 5% or less.

I think this would suggest that the 6600BIOS might have better video card RAM timings ????

    Any thoughts?

    Regards

What RivaTuner version are you using? Also, I read another thread where someone went through the 6200, 6600, and 6600GT bioses and found that the 6200 and 6600 have the same timings.
