DFI NF4 vcore and possible vdimm mods

Saaya requested vcore mod for this board. So, here it is. Also, that could be vdimm mod, but I was told this board doesn't need it. But if someone is interested in using the 3.3v rail, instead of the 5v rail, for vdimm, here is the possible mod. If someone tries it, please report back with results for vdimm.

Vcore: 50k trimmer via pin 10 of ISL6559CB to ground (pin 15). Lower resistance for more vcore.

Vdimm: 50k trimmer via pin 6 of LM358 to ground (pin 4). Lower resistance for more vdimm.

For vdimm, try soldering the trimmer and check to see if it works. If it doesn't then get back to me and i'll give you other ideas to try. You can use other grounds instead of pin 4, since it looks like it's a lil tight there.

As usual, do it at your own risk.

nice work on the vcore malves, i doubt the vDimm is going to work though, its gonna be more complicated than just soldering to the pins on that IC.

I guess this board really doesn't need vdimm. So, there's no need to take the risk.

What about a smoothing circuit for Vdiim and cpu...like some caps and a diode bridge...and maybe a circuit with an LCD/DIMM and better Vdimm and cpu voltage adjustment so that it is very fine that you can set...so through the refining circuit to set the volts then the smoothing voltage then have the LCD display the voltage then tot he CPU...just somethoughts maybe i will work on this at school...
