Who said Gskill LA 1gb doesnt perform?

    Hej.

In this particualr forum I have noticed that some users regard the 1GB LA kit from Gskill as something lesser in regards to the LE's.

I found myself in the opposite situation. All 1GB users hit DDR600 1T. My thread will be more elaborate once I get more than 3 hours of sleep. To cut a long story short, I got my DFI NF4 SLI-DR A001 board, still havent flashed it, and tried out my CPU + RAM.

Gskill results, all 1T and a completely untweaked WinXP Pro CZ with stock Vcore etc. Even the thermal pad is still on Couldn't be bothered to let Super PI 32M finish, sorry.

and max I reached so far, not really testing, just juggling the numbers and having fun, as this is the first real computer I have since my AXP went away. 310 3-4-4-8 is memtest stable

    .

I'll put my signature onto the pictures later, I really cannot be bothered. For those interested in the RAM, its GSKILL LA 437 2X512MB

    Regards, Dave.

PS: This stuff does perform. I hit 325 but wasnt stable.

I just picked up a GB kit of the LA. From what I hear is the LA 1GB kit will perfrom 1T fairly easy on NF4 such as DFI.

I am currently running DFI NF4 with the LA 512 kit and have been up to 320 1T 3 4 4 8 stable with no errors. Currently @ 2.5 3 3 7 300x8 1T! Hoping to get same results when the 1GB kit arrives.

Once again to bust the myth!

    Gskill LA 280 2,5-3-3-10 Prime95

    Gskill LA 290 2,5-3-3-10 Prime95 - sorry for not running longer but I'm going for 300 2,5-3-3-7

This 200kb limit per file is rather restricting

Dave, not sure if you've already mentioned it but are the ICs on your LAs 437 or 440?
