Do I have to plug in a 4-pin molex from the PSU to the mobo itself?
The molex that is circled is the one in question.........do I have to plug a line from the PSU to this? The manual doesn't specify and I just try to power on and NOTHING.

That is for more stability with SLI enabled. You don't need to unless you are running SLI.
any updates also post your specs, do are you using your ocz 520 like in your sig?
I've tried powering up and nothing! All jumpers appear to be correct.....what could be wrong? DOA?
Disconnect everything and connect them back again. Oh an another thing, RTFM, it always has a couple of things to knowOriginally Posted by Lidocaine

There sure are a lot of the OCZ PSU's going tits up since they came out. Sorry to hear that and good luck with the rest of the build.

Actually I have had the same problem.Originally Posted by Lidocaine
I got my SLI-D yesterday, hooked everything up and turned it on. Nothing happened. Double checked all cables and jumpers but everything was OK.
Tried booting it several times but no succes.
Built the system outside the case on a box but the same thing, offcorse I tried booting with other memory, PCI videocard no harddrives connected etc but it just wouldn't work
Went downstairs to search for a solution, came back and it smelled like something was burning in there. I come in to my room and see the leds of my 120mm fan burning, but no fans spinning etc, what the... the system powered itself up?
Because of that my PSU has died
I hope the other hardware is undamaged, can't test it all, and hoping i'll get a new PSU. Already got conformation i will recieve a new board.
Got an x850xt pe and 2x 512ocz vx laying around now doing nothing
Or does your system work now with the antec psu?

Similar situation here. I took out my MSI K8N Neo4 mobo, rebuilt, and never saw power after that...........3 months old andOriginally Posted by vrtn
This ANTEC SL-450 is waaaaaaayyyy undervolting..............I'm lucky to just be up at default. It's only a 20-pin psu........dropped it down 2 slots on the 24-pin connector and fired it up.
I'm so pissed right now it aint funny. Waited ALL this time for this board to be "gimped" by a DEAD hella expensive PSU
The board is sweet though.............pics:
Sideshot of XP-90 on the board:
In the case:
Chipset "stuff".......the "paste" is hard as cement.
.......got a nice thin layer of AS5 now.
Back of the Ultra-D
Last........the 6800GT OC DOES HIT THE CHIPSET FAN....but it will install.
...........again......there is ZERO clearance between the chipset fan shroud and the 6800GT.
so your ocz powerstrteam 520 died with your board? eeks im getting this psu and board. but samething happened with my friends msineo2plat. did your psu work prior to this? just curiuos and if any one has any reasons why it did this?
thanks a lot.
I've had this OCZ on 3 Neo2's, 1 Neo4..........the PSU was working when I took the Neo4 out of the case to put the DFI in. The spare ANTEC I had pulled me through though, because I thought when I heard the "POP!" that my CPU had gone up in smoke................to heck with the cpu thinking about it..........my $500 video card coulda went up in smoke.Originally Posted by synergy321
The board is nice other than the fact that the 6800GT sits on top of the chipset fan shroud with no clearance at all. The bios is loaded with stuff.
Quality components on this board.
That thick pad on the chipset HSF is a fairly good TIM normaly, it's phasechange so don't know if the chipset would get hot enough to make it work properly.
