Hi guys,
Gigabyte will release by the end of the month a new board with basic features but tuned for overclocking (10 levels od loadline calibration, PWM frequency adjustable from BIOS, SLI support, etc). All this you will get for under 200$, pretty nice I will say!
Before we get to bussiness you can see pictures with the board here.
I used my good 2500K that did 5919MHz on M4E cooled by Dimastech Single-Stage. For the 3D tests I used MSI GTX580 Lightning on LN2 with Ryba Fat GPUpot. Now, let's see if the little guy cam match the twice more expensive M4E...
- CPUz validation @ 5902MHz
- PiFast - 12.59s @ 5902MHz
- SuperPi 1M - 6.328s @ 5902MHz
- SuperPi 32M - 5.51.656 @ 5902MHz (don't mind the score, not optimized at all)
- WPrime 32M - 5.184s @ 5902MHz
- 3DMark 2001 - 128141 @ 5902MHz
- 3DMark 2003 - 169634 @ 5902MHz
- 3DMark 2005 - 52973 @ 5902MHz
- 3DMark 2006 - 42257 @ 5902MHz
And some pictures from the lab501.ro secret gathering!
Monstru says: "Dude, where's my board?"
Thanks for reading this,
