Asrock Extreme 4 can also boot with 2600K to 5.5Ghz

The Asrock Extreme 4 updated with the latest beta bios (1.43A) can also handle good overclocking with 2600K.

    Configuration :

Asrock Extreme 4 Bios 1.43A (CPU PLL override + Vcore up to 1.7V)
    Intel Core i7 2600K ES
    2 X 2Gb G.Skill RipjawsX 17066 7-10-7-27 1.65V
    Corsair AX1200W
    AMD HD 4350
    G.Skill Phoenix pro 40Gb
    Windows 7 64 bit

Some pictures of that motherboard :

    Nice one

Sandy don't need high end motherboard....

...good bios and good chip seems enough to have same good clocking with all mobo's....

Higher Vcore is very welcome, 1.520 was just to low

Can you tell what was the max. clock with the same CPU on other mainboards?

Very nice. I see 1.4 on the ftp site but not 1.43a. Do you have access for new bios for Extreme6 as well?

    Thats's ok
I know the Asrock Pro3 just allows rough 1MHz steps for example.

Just wondering if you can run the mem at 6-9-6-24 just like on the 32M run with Maximus IV Extreme?

Hopefully ASRock can cement their name as a quality, low priced board-manufacturer.

I am liking this Extreme P67 series even better the more I read about them.
