    [Open Box] New 1155 Platform - Asus P8P67 Deluxe + 2sets of G.Skill DDR3 2133

The new generation LGA 1155 platform will be announced very soon. With some pretests I have done, good performance clock to clock to i7 4C8T, though my 2300k ES (2.8G default but has 4C8T) is not very outstanding, running at 4.5G 24/7 is good enough, lower temperature in both in CPU and Chipset, SATA 6.0 & USB 3.0 supporting, I am very willing to build a new desktop as my workstation to replace my old E6600 P35 platform.

Here is my new P67 MB, Asus P8P67 Deluxe:

The Features - Dual Giga Lan, Double USB 3.0, Bluetooth, DIGI+VRM and new generation EFI BIOS....etc

The MotherBoard and Accessories: Here we see the MB.......

Accesories: A front USB 3.0 connector, some USB cables, a CrossFire bridge, Manual and Instruction User Guides, driver disc, back plate, EZ-connectorx...etc.

Closer Look to the MotherBoard: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe:

The 16+2 phase DIGI+ VRM units are covered by rather large Heatsink, the holes for heatsink is compatible with previous LGA1156 heatsinks.

Nuvoton LPC Super I/O for Desktop

8 SATA ports. Deep blue and white for SATA 3.0, SATA 2.0 using light blue.

    1 X EPS 8pins for CPU Power

The PCI-e and PCI slots distribution view:

P67 chipset does not support PCI slot, Asmedia ASM1083 is used for the 2 PCI slots:

On-Board Power Switch, Reset Switch are very common now for overclockers naked platform and EPU Switch:

    PLX Chips for PCI-e

A NEC USB 3.0 chips for back I/O USB connectors:

Another NEC 3.0 Chips is for the front Box USB 3.0 connectors:

Other chips: Sound Chips VIA VT6315N, Dual GigaLan: one use realtek, one use Intel GigaLan

The back I/O View: Bluetooth is ready installed.......

A Top and Bottom view of the Asus P8P67 Deluxe:

Some more new toys for the new Platform, I also got two set G.Skill RipJaws rams 2G X2 which are designed and engineered for P67 platform, from my quick test, they are doing much better than those Rams for P55 chipsets, let's see later (after NDA)

The light Blue RigJaws is rated as DDR3 2133 CL8-9-8-24 1.65V

The Dark one RigJaws is rated as DDR3 2133 CL7-10-7-27 1.65V

They all comes with the Turbulence II fan:

Take a look after installed the new AMD 6970:

A top view showing all components are installed, not so congested :
