    MCW80 on SLI GTX460 + MCW30 on PhysX GTS450

Yesterday i tested the MCW30 on the GTS450 and saw it work very nicelly. Today i received the 2 MCW80 i ordered. Found that the GT200 plate is a perfect fit for a GTX460 with only 2 more hole ( or 4 if you want to be perfect ... )

Everything was pretty straight foward, only the Clamp on the Bloc scared me cause they are very close to the next card but its OK, everything have a decent clearence and nothe to short with is near BTW !

I dont have temp result yet since im Leak testing ( writing on my laptop ... ). Im only missing the Heatsink for the memory .. suposed to knock at the door soon.

    Pics Final result tomorow !

Nice! I would try two rotaries on the MCW30, it will help a lot with tubing route

yeah, i know, but i dont have any in hand. With antikink, nothing is kinking !

Temp are really nice. Played Mafia 2 and the hotest GPU was ~45°c with a 30°c room and the GTS460 clocked at 905mhz with 1.145 volts.

Nice, I like the chipset block recycling. I have a mcw30 laying around in a box, could be a good idea.

I like your rack, it's pretty loaded...

yeah, its now pretty heavy !!!!

I could have used 90° rotary for a cleaner tubing work but im "fonction over fashion".

    Pardon for my silly questions

    1. GT200 plate in the MCW80 package is no need to drilling? Out of the box will
be fit in GTX460 card mounting? A reference pcb GTX460, isn't it?
    2. I saw 4 long screws on your GTX460, is it the same 4 long screws in GT200
mounting package in MCW80? Except you have not used 4 black plastic
standoffs? What about the thumbnuts? Are you using the same GT200'
    thumbnuts mounting package?

Thx for the reply. I have one MCW80 and GTX460 reference card lying and thinking the same methods you already done. It is a perfect combination for wc'ing GTX460 without looking a full cover wb

No, like he said in his original post, he had to drill 2 holes in the plate.

For perfect centered mount you can drill 4 hole, but 2 is enough. The hole are correct from left to right, but not from top to bottom on the GT200 plate.

GT200 is scare, GTX460 is rectangle.

Currently idling at 27°c on all 3 cards. Playing mafia2 for hours and im at 40°c on the hotter GPU.
