    hd5870 2gb E6 edition

    install 10.6 drivers
and try to do 3x2 monitor setup group, immiadately BSOD

I checked that on intel and amd setup
also on diffrent win7 versions ultimate/pro/home 32/64 bit

only 10.5 works for me (10.4 dont have 6 monitor support)

As funny as this is, lets not forget nVidia also had this exact issue a month or so ago with their drivers.

it is ATI, go try watching a youtube video now... with any luck you wont have to reset your OC settings in bios after your BSOD restart

were do u get that, it only happens on the newest JW player and affter watching that video i got a chunk of vram nolonger detected and a memory leak. i doubt that it is driver related but its easy to blame the drivers. i can go into assembly and do this to your cpu with a memory leak and not cleaning up my tables then leaving them in protected memory affter i make it crash. this looks like a software error that will get fixed by driver forcing the memory to be cleared when the code should have done that.

and dont reset and then change settings, just power off then back on.

i never reset the system my self. the BSOD went to 100% and auto reset. when it did, BIOS froze. so i force shut down and turned it back on. i hit tab to view post and it showed everything back at stock. i let it go into windows and then i checked it all to make sure and everything was back to stock settings including ASUS's SmartDoctor voltage and clock setings for the graphics. had to redo the settings for the graphics and then go back into BIOS and redo all of that too.

it's because you're running a moddified physX setup which uses a slightly older catalyst that doesn't share the same issue.
