2010 GO OC China Regional Final in Mount Hua, China

The event was taken place in Mount Hau (or Hua Shan) , Xian of China on the 25th of June.
    Info. on Hua Shan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Hua

Ten contestants were qualified for this competition. Details of the ten qualifiers can be found here: http://event.gigabyte.cn/gooc2010/

It takes around 3-4 hour drive from Xian Airport to this mythical destination “Mount Hua,” which is one of the most famous sightseeing spots in China. It was once believed that people from diff. provinces come to Mount Hua to fight for the Honor of No.1 in the ancient Martial Art society. The venue was meaningfully chosen for that purpose.

Wow, high-end technology in an ancient atmosphere. What chemical reactions could that mixture create?

The competition began @ 14:25pm & finished up @ around 15:55pm (90mins for the whole contest).

    The three finalists:-
Champion: Stephen Yeong from Team HK-Centralfield, Hong Kong
1st runner up: Wing from Speedtime, Beijing & Hero Ou from Team China, Guangzhou

Congrats to the three finalists who will be representing the China Region as a Team to join the 2010 GO OC Final in Taiwan later this year.
Good Luck to you guys !

    Hua Shan

The opening speech made by a pretty good looking MC. Chinese girls look very attractive in that kind of traditional dress. Guys….use your imagination !

    ok..a close up !

A Chinese dancing show before the competition begins

Now the angels in costume started serving the guests. I was told that one of them looked WOW …..!

    Another Kung Fu show !
I bet either one of them can beat 5 persons with that sword

All contestants gathered for Hicookie’s command

    The contest begins…..

Ok…the venue had no air condition. Guys needed to bear with the temp. of around 40c.
All great Chinese boxers were trained under this kind of environment. So….why not follow their footstep …… & get a LN2 bath afterwards.

Announcement of the final result by the home sick Hicookie who got the “Hua Shan Flu” @ the 1st day. Hope he is still alive ……!

    The long awaited……….Award Presentation

    The Champion Stephen Yeong

1st runner up Wing & Hero Ou

2nd runner up Fengke & Dpower from SpeedTime, Kkwong from Team HK-Centralfield
