It's PSC, it's the same chip that's used on G.Skill Eco and PIS, and probably Corsair GTX1 as well. My guess is this will be the next best thing when Hyper is gone, it just can't run tight tRCD, hence the spec of tRCD = tCL + 2.

Most likely the same chip but different binning. ( not sure about this. )

yeah PSC shame about tRCD but thanks Fitseries3 for sharing your results, was wondering how these faired as in OZ Gskill 6-8-6-x have started to show up too but still pricey over here.

There is still a chip with the code BASE but EDJ1108BASE a.k.a. MNH-E or MGH-E is EOL, it's now listed in Elpida's DDR3 EOL lineup.

Thanks for the excellent review and Noctua NH-D14 clearance picture.

I just ordered this Mushkin Ridgeback 998826 kit for $220 (after $25 rebate and with a 2GB USB flash drive) from NewEgg:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226124

After comparing them with a G.Skill Trident kit here:
