    Silverstone FM181 180mm fan - tests?

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Silverstone's ball-bearing 180x32mm replacement fan for their current case lineup (FM181)?

I'm wondering if it can compete with or beat our favorite 120/140mm fans?

I understand that the blade velocity will be higher at a given RPM for the 180mm size, but the fan sounds good in these videos:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I49pk...eature=related - compared against FM121 and FM123, variable RPM sound/video.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usyRMA9w-w4 - FM181 by itself... doesn't tell us much, but it's blowing paper...heh

    Any thoughts on this fan?

Has anyone done any testing on it?

I have a couple of them in my FT01BW. They are pretty decent fans IMO. ~150CFM. The fan isn't quiet however it is mostly air noise. Very little motor noise.

I like the sound of moving air, that's what a fan is supposed to do. Probably got to get one of these to check out.

Why the hell do they have to be white?

I have 3 of them in my Raven 2 and they really push a lot of air, works better than the original ones.
